The high trust leader is one who can be influenced, and that actually builds trust.
What does it take to build high-trust organizations through your leadership?
“I would say the final thing is the idea of building a high trust culture, a high trust enterprise, is virtually impossible without a high integrity leader. A lot of it flows from the leader and I know that you’ve seen this too, but I found in all these companies we’ve backed, if the leader is a smoker, lots of other people smoke. If he or she is a triathlete you get a bunch of triathletes. So people tend to mimic the leader. It’s a very powerful thing and integrity I think is the core element that a leader can use to develop high trust organization.“
